As for the taste, it's hard to put into words

The signature Fried Duck with Black Sauce (Bebek Goreng with Bumbu Hitam)[1], the duck itself was undeniably good, fried to a crispy outside and tender inside, falling right off the bone. But! That signature black sauce, Bumbu Hitam... if I'm being honest, for me it was so salty it was overwhelming, and it was very greasy. I had to chug water after just a couple of bites. Maybe I just don't know how to appreciate it, but it feels like the taste is very polarizing.
Thankfully! This plate of Mango Sambal (Sambal Mangga)[2] totally saved my life! The sour and spicy shredded mango was super refreshing. Paired with the greasy fried duck, it was a lifesaver for cutting through the grease, Mantap! I could eat three bowls of rice with just this sambal alone. Although it's not expensive, there are some pitfalls I have to mention. Girls, don't be fooled by the name of the "Double XL" set. I ordered one, and it felt like half of it was fat and bones; the actual amount of meat wasn't as much as I expected[4]. And the environment... although the place is quite big, the ventilation is really bad. It's stuffy and hot inside, and with the greasy floor[5], the whole dining experience was a bit of a letdown. It's definitely not the kind of place where you can sit and Chill for an afternoon.
