Girls, after hanging out in Makassar for a while, I've always wanted to find a place where we can Nongkrong 24/7. The other day, while looking for a late-night bite with a friend, we stumbled upon this place, SS COFFEE SPACE, which is super popular among local students.
Seeing the retro-industrial design outside, plus the huge outdoor space, I thought to myself: Not bad, this is gonna be our Chill spot for tonight!
The coffee is Mantap, but the surprises end there…
As soon as we sat down, I got straight to the point and ordered their signature Creamy Coffee[1], which everyone raves about. Honestly, this coffee was the best thing of the night! The texture was silky smooth, and the creamy aroma and the rich bitterness of the coffee were perfectly balanced, not at all the quality you'd expect from a coffee that only costs 18k[2]. I loved it! ❤️
But... the coffee was the only good thing. The place has a certain vibe and the space is large enough, but the details are a real letdown. The tables were covered in a layer of dust, the graffiti on the walls looked as messy as a crime scene, and as for the restroom… all I can say is, girls, you need to mentally prepare yourselves before going in[3]. The snacks were also pretty average, the kind that fills your stomach but you won't be craving them again.
