Once we got to the restaurant, the view was truly Mantap! Sand under your feet, the sound of waves in your ears, and a stunning sunset right before your eyes, the vibe was absolutely on point. It's definitely a magical place for a couple's date night or to celebrate an anniversary[3].
We ordered a few of their signature dishes, and that Wagyu Steak[4] was undeniably good, cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy, rich, and melted in your mouth. The Lobster Linguine[5] was also quite stunning, with a rich sauce and the fresh sweetness of lobster clinging to every strand of pasta. Up to this point, everything was wonderful, and I was almost ready to praise it unconditionally...
Honestly, there are some things I just have to complain about
...until the other dishes arrived. Anjay, the quality control is really a bit Schrödinger's cat! My friend's chicken was dry as a bone, and a grilled fish was also clearly overcooked[6], with the skin all charred. The key issue is the price. Four of us spent over 5 million IDR on three dishes, averaging over 1,000 RMB per person. Combined with the hit-or-miss quality and generally small portions[7], my wallet is really hurting! It feels like half the money was just to pay for this ocean view.
