Deep in Sulawesi, I didn't have high expectations for coffee shops, after all, it's not Jakarta or Bali. But, I was completely blown away by this place, ToRi Coffee, in the center of Rantepao! 🤯 It's exactly what "The Pride of Toraja"[1] should be like.

I was amazed the moment I walked in. It has that comfortable, modern tropical style, and it perfectly blends local Torajan carvings and wall art elements. Any corner is super photogenic. Rattan chairs, green plants, plus warm lighting—the whole vibe is just maxed out. It's perfect for coming with friends to Nongkrong for an afternoon.
Back to the main topic—the coffee. I'd crown it the best I've had in Toraja! The V60 pour-over is absolutely amazing[2], the flavor is exceptionally pure and clean. Coffee lovers, you have to try it!
