Bali's New Sunset King! Hilton's Beach Club: No Stairs, Straight to the Beach
Experience a taste of la dolce vita at Bar Sprezzatura, a glamorous new Italian aperitivo bar in San Francisco. This stunning spot channels chic coastal vibes with its terrazzo floors and plush velvet seating. Explore an impressive menu of classic Negronis and creative Spritzes, perfectly paired with Venetian-style small bites, or cicchetti, like whipped salt cod and arancini. It’s the
After hanging out in Uluwatu for a while, my legs have practically developed muscles. Which cliff bar doesn't make you climb what feels like a thousand steps? So when I discovered this new place by Hilton, Uma Beach House, where you can just seamlessly glide from the parking lot to the beach, I was so grateful! 🙏 A lazy person's dream, girls, it's worth it for this reason alone!
Immersive Chill, This is the Right Way to Do Bali
The vibe here gets you the moment you walk in. It's not that deafening, tacky party style, but a truly sophisticated Chill. The whole space is a gentle pink palette paired with natural wood tones, clean and stylish, and every corner is super photogenic. The taste in music is also superb. As evening approached, there was even a saxophonist playing live by the infinity pool[1]! The sunset paints the entire sky and sea red, you're soaking in the pool, listening to the romantic sax, feeling like the main character in a movie, Anjay!
The service is beyond words, ridiculously good. Starting from the moment they hand you a cold towel at the door, every staff member has such a genuine smile, and they're incredibly attentive. It feels like experiencing the service of Singapore Airlines' first class[2], no wonder the reviews are full of shout-outs for the staff members Hadi and Erika.
The Food is On Point, But Get Your Wallet Ready
The food here is Japanese-Peruvian fusion Nikkei cuisine. I have to give a big Mantap to the Poke Bowl[3] I ordered! The salmon was super fresh, paired with a special sesame dressing, and so satisfying with every bite. My meat-lover friend ordered the T-bone steak[4] and also said it was delicious. If you want that classic seaside ritual, you can try the oysters[5]; they're very fresh.
But, let's be real for a second. The portions here are a bit "delicate," you know[6]. If you're coming for a huge feast, you might find the value for money just okay. Especially if you want to lounge on a daybed, there's a minimum spend of 1.8 million IDR on weekends[7]. But the good thing is it can all be used to cover food and drinks, which is about right for nongkrong for an afternoon.
Editor-in-Chief's Guide to Avoiding Pitfalls, You're Welcome!
Lastly, here are the key points for you girls, take notes 📝:
- Book! Book! Book! I'll say it three times because it's important. Especially if you want to snag a good spot for the sunset, make sure to book in advance on their website or by phone[8].
- Best Time: Arrive around 4 PM to get a good spot, stay from dusk until the lights come on, and perfectly experience the whole thing.
- What to Eat: The Poke Bowl is a must-try, and the T-bone steak is great for meat lovers. But that seafood platter, unless you have an unlimited budget and a small appetite, you might want to hold off on that one[9].
- What to Wear: Wear your prettiest bikini and resort dress! This place is super photogenic; it'd be a crime not to take a hundred photos with this view.
- Hidden Perk: If you're a Hilton Honors member, don't forget to ask when you pay the bill, there might be a surprise discount[10]
