Sitting inside on a hot day isn't stuffy at all, it's super Chill～ The parking lot is also huge, a blessing for those who drive.
We were worried that a scenic restaurant like this would be slow with the food, but the service was lightning fast[3]! You absolutely have to order the signature Crispy Fried Duck (Bebek Goreng Kremes)[4]! The skin is fried to a perfect crisp, but the duck meat inside is incredibly tender. And then there's the Crispy Fried Squid (Cumi Goreng Kremes)[5], the portion is super generous, the texture is so chewy and bouncy, and it's just perfect with rice.
Of course, it wasn't without its flaws. The overall taste was solid, but we ordered a Tahu Gejrot, and it didn't feel very authentic[6], they used regular white tofu, so it was missing that special 'soulful' flavor. If you want authentic snacks, you can skip this one.
