And that grilled Gurami fish[3], with a crispy, fragrant skin and tender fish meat inside. How to describe the taste? It's that very authentic, traditional Indonesian home-cooked flavor, Mantap! It's not some fancy, creative dish, but it's just comforting to eat, a flavor that the whole family, young and old, won't go wrong with[4].
Of course, to be fair, their food is the"crowd-pleaser" type – delicious and reliable. But if you're a gourmet seeking extreme taste sensations, you might not find it particularly astonishing.
