Today, I happened to be shopping at City Plaza Jatinegara in East Jakarta, saw the familiar dragon logo, and rushed in without a second thought. The result... how should I put it, it felt a bit Anjay...[1]
Familiar Recipe, Unfamiliar Taste
I was shocked the moment I walked in. The space inside is super tiny, tables are packed next to each other, and you can hear everything the next table is talking about clearly. It's hard to even Nongkrong and chat about private stuff with friends[2].
I thought to myself, a so-so environment is fine, as long as the taste is consistent! I ordered my favorite Lo Mie and a Nasi Steak Ayam[3]. But when the food arrived, I was dumbfounded... The portion of this Lo Mie was so different from the size I remember?! And that 48k Nasi Steak Ayam, the chicken steak was pitifully small, it felt like there was more flour than meat.
