Discover a wallet-friendly Japanese restaurant in Bekasi that seems perfect for families, featuring a second-floor playground to keep kids entertained. Enjoy creamy ramen and unique chocolate sushi at incredibly low prices. However, this review reveals a major red flag regarding the playground's questionable hygiene that parents must know about. Get the full scoop on the food, the good, the bad, and tips for your visit, including how to score free drink refills and avoid parking nightmares.
The vibe felt right as soon as I walked in. The environment is pretty cozy, split into two floors. The first floor is relatively quiet, perfect for a small get-together with friends to Nongkrong and chat. For those of us with kids in tow, we naturally headed straight for the second floor! And just as expected, there was a small play area, instantly freeing this mom's hands 🙌. What's even more thoughtful is that there's a super clean prayer room (Mushola) on the second floor. The facilities are quite complete, I'd say.
🍜 Food Review:
OK, enough with the praise, let's get real.
Overall, for less than 50k per person, you can get a full and decent meal, which is totally worth the price. It's a great, affordable spot to take the kids for a meal or for a casual get-together with friends. Mantap lah for the price! Saturday Coffee in East Jakarta is a tale of two extremes. Head straight upstairs to discover a quiet, cool, and spacious non-smoking area—a true haven for working from a cafe. But beware of the first floor's infamous mosquito party and stuffy air. While the Es Kopi Kelapa and Silky Tofu Rice Bowl are surprisingly delicious, this review also gives a heads-up on the unstable WiFi and limited parking, so you know exactly what to expect from this love-hate spot.

Tired of the usual spots? Discover a true hidden gem in East Jakarta, tucked away under the Kampung Melayu flyover. This cozy, Instagrammable cafe serves up unique, stretchy handmade ice cream with must-try flavors like Teh Botol. But the real showstopper is the surprisingly delicious and affordable pasta, with a wok hei that rivals fancy restaurants. It's the perfect secret base for a hangout with friends, complete with power outlets at every table and board games for extra fun.

Discover Toti Cafe, an East Jakarta rooftop that boasts a perfect Google score but offers a mixed experience. The main draw is the incredible 6th-floor view, where you can watch sunsets over the city to the unique soundtrack of passing trains and jazz music. While the affordable coffee is a highlight, be prepared for mediocre food and indifferent service. It's a spot with an unbeatable atmosphere for a chill hangout, as long as you come for the views, not the service.

Discover a true hidden gem in East Jakarta, tucked away behind a secret door! This photogenic cafe is a sanctuary for K-pop fans, often hosting fan events. But the appeal is universal, with must-try signatures like the silky Tokyo Milk Cheese Ice Cream and a surprisingly top-tier Beef Aglio e Olio. It’s also a great work-friendly spot with fast Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets, making it the perfect place to hang out.
