Just as I was getting so hot I started questioning my life choices, frantically thinking "Is this a place for humans?", the bowl of noodles arrived... OMG, it was instantly worth it!
I ordered the signature Chicken Noodles (Mie Ayam)[2], and the amount of toppings was so generous! Piled high with big chunks of chicken, it had that sweet and savory Wonogiri style flavor. The rich sauce coated every single chewy noodle, and after one slurp, I immediately forgave the environment! The noodles also came with a chicken foot stewed until it was fall-off-the-bone tender, full of collagen, such a pro move!
My friend ordered the version with Meatballs (Bakso)[3]. The meatballs had a decent texture and a good meaty flavor, but honestly, it didn't blow me away like the chicken noodles did.
