This place called Amsterdam became popular with its"build-your-own breakfast plate" concept, where you can choose 3 or 5 small dishes to create your own platter. Sounds great and creative, right? That's what I thought at the time, and I excitedly went.
I sat down and ordered a set meal with 5 dishes, which was about 99k Indonesian Rupiah. I was quite looking forward to it while waiting for the food, thinking I could try many flavors at once, Mantap!
All in all, the value for money was truly abysmal. I spent almost 100k, and then had to find another place to eat after leaving. Isn't that infuriating?
