Every time I go back to Palembang, if I don't drag my friends to "test vocal" and belt out a few songs, the trip just doesn't feel complete. When you get tired from singing, you've got to fill your stomach. Their food is actually pretty good, the flavors are on point, and the utensils and everything are sparkling clean, big plus for that[3]. But, to be fair, there's a bit of a difference between the menu pictures and the actual food. It's one of those "pictures are for reference only" situations, you know what I mean 😉.
BUT! The service really drags it down… 👎
No matter how good the hardware is, it can't make up for terrible service, girls. I don't know if it's because they just opened and are short-staffed, but it was so, so, so hard to get a waiter! The call button on the screen is just for decoration. My friend just wanted a glass, asked for it from the beginning of our session to the end, called for it countless times, and they didn't bring it for 3 hours. We were just speechless[4].
And the sound system, it's fine most of the time, but occasionally it will suddenly give you a little "surprise" with some static noise. The touchscreen for song selection is also a bit laggy, which really drives an impatient person like me crazy[5]. I hope the owner can optimize it soon!
