Whenever friends come to West Jakarta to Nongkrong with me, I always worry about not having a place to go. I never expected to find a hidden gem like this in the Permata Buana residential area.
The first time I saw that Javanese-style Joglo old house and all the greenery, it really felt like an urban oasis[1]. But… don't be too quick to praise it. My friend also said the Bakso Goreng[5] he ordered was good, claiming it was one of the best he's had in Jakarta.
But I've also seen comments saying some dishes can be a miss, like soups being too salty or the sambal not being fresh[6]. The quality control seems a bit inconsistent. For drinks, you can try their specialty, Es Teh Joglo[7], which has a faint jasmine aroma and is very refreshing.
