The fried chicken cutlet[3] was crispy on the outside, and the meat inside was still pretty juicy. But I'd give the best-in-show award to the fried fish fillet[4]! The texture was truly Mantap! The beef, in comparison, was a bit of a letdown. It was on the tough side[5], so friends with weaker teeth should probably be cautious about ordering it.
The restaurant is on the 5th floor of PI. The space isn't huge, a bit smaller than their branch at GI[6], but it's still quite comfortable. The decor has a super cute anime style, which creates a fun contrast with its"monster" name, making it great for taking pictures.
Real talk time
To be fair, it's not cheap. The two of us spent almost 500,000 IDR on this meal. But considering the washbasin-sized portion, one serving is enough for two or three people to share, so the price per person is actually not bad.
The service, however... was a bit hit-or-miss. The restaurant wasn't busy when we went, but we still waited almost 20 minutes for our food[7]. Also, the staff didn't proactively mention any ongoing promotions, so everyone should take a good look before ordering to not miss out on any deals!
