The moment my Beef Teriyaki[2] arrived, that smoky aroma was just right! The beef was incredibly tender, not dry at all, paired with a perfectly balanced sweet and savory sauce and a generous portion of salad. Shoveling it down with big mouthfuls of rice was just the best feeling.
But their side dishes are the real showstoppers! That chicken five-spice roll (Gohyong Ayam)[3], the skin was fried to a perfect crisp, and the chicken filling inside was so tender and juicy. And the cheese shrimp (Udang Keju)[4], promise me you have to order it! The cheese just explodes in your mouth with one bite, it's intoxicatingly fragrant, and not greasy at all!
The overall flavor really surprised me, it felt like I was instantly transported to a small eatery on the streets of Tokyo[5], but the flavors are a bit richer than what you'd find in Japan, which is more suited to our Indonesian palates, haha. To finish it off, you have to get the caramel pudding (Puding Karamel)[6], the pudding itself is so silky it melts in your mouth, and it's served with cookie crumbs for extra texture, Perfect!

While the taste is flawless, I have to say, I have a small complaint. I got greedy and ordered the large (Jumbo) size, but it felt like there wasn't much difference compared to my friend's regular portion[7]… So, I'd suggest just getting the regular size.
