On the hunt for top-tier pork ramen in Tangerang? Look no further than Chin Ma Ya, a veteran spot with a fresh two-story concept. Downstairs is a chic cafe, while upstairs serves soul-warming, non-halal ramen in cozy, semi-private booths. Don't miss their signature Tonkotsu Ramen with tender chashu or the raved-about soup gyoza. This popular joint gets crowded, so visit during off-peak hours to fully enjoy the rich flavors and comfortable atmosphere without the long wait.
Foodies in Gading Serpong probably all know that Chin Ma Ya's status in the Tangerang ramen scene is that of a veteran. They've moved around so many times, even a long-time fan like me can barely keep up 🤣. Recently, I heard they moved and upgraded again, with a new concept of "cafe downstairs, ramen shop upstairs", so I had to rush over to check it out and see if it's just nostalgia or if they've really got the goods.
The new spot's ambiance is really nice. The first floor is a bright, modern Japanese-style cafe; coming here for a coffee to nongkrong during the day would definitely be very chill. We got straight to the point and went up to the ramen area on the second floor. Wooden partitions divide the space into semi-private booths, giving it a very Japanese Zen vibe. It's much more comfortable than the old place, with better privacy, perfect for a small get-together with friends or a date.
As usual, I've got the key points for you. If you want to go without any mishaps, look here 👇
