Discover a wallet-friendly Japanese restaurant in Bekasi that seems perfect for families, featuring a second-floor playground to keep kids entertained. Enjoy creamy ramen and unique chocolate sushi at incredibly low prices. However, this review reveals a major red flag regarding the playground's questionable hygiene that parents must know about. Get the full scoop on the food, the good, the bad, and tips for your visit, including how to score free drink refills and avoid parking nightmares.
The vibe felt right as soon as I walked in. The environment is pretty cozy, split into two floors. The first floor is relatively quiet, perfect for a small get-together with friends to Nongkrong and chat. For those of us with kids in tow, we naturally headed straight for the second floor! And just as expected, there was a small play area, instantly freeing this mom's hands 🙌. What's even more thoughtful is that there's a super clean prayer room (Mushola) on the second floor. The facilities are quite complete, I'd say.
🍜 Food Review:
OK, enough with the praise, let's get real.
Overall, for less than 50k per person, you can get a full and decent meal, which is totally worth the price. It's a great, affordable spot to take the kids for a meal or for a casual get-together with friends. Mantap lah for the price! Prepare to be wowed by its signature Magic Coffee, praised for its smooth, creamy texture, and delicious food like the smoky Kanal Rice Beef. Despite its discreet entrance and premium prices, the exceptional quality and cool atmosphere make it a must-visit destination for coffee lovers exploring beyond the South.

Shintana Bakery is a Jakarta legend where the flavor is king, but the service is famously not. This old-school spot serves up pure nostalgia with its "Jadul" style baked goods. Brace yourself for the notoriously rude staff and non-existent parking, but you'll be rewarded with an unforgettable taste of the past. Don't miss their legendary soft chiffon cake or the crispy chocolate polo buns—they're the reason this bakery has stood the test of time.

Discover Publika, a massive and photogenic cafe in East Jakarta perfect for large groups. This review gives you the inside scoop: the space is stunning, but the indoor AC is notoriously weak, so consider visiting at night or sitting outside. The food is a hit-or-miss experience; while the Nasi Goreng Wagyu and Tom Yum are definite must-tries, other dishes may fall flat. Expect slow service, making it a spot for leisurely gatherings rather than a quick bite.
