During the day, I absolutely adored this place! The hotel's design is on another level, with a strong vintage New York vibe, and every corner looks like a meticulously designed movie set[1]. You could post any random photo on social media, and people would think you'd flown to the other side of the world. The location is also perfect, right in the heart of Kemang, South Jakarta's trendiest area. You can just go downstairs to Nongkrong, and it's surrounded by great cafes and restaurants to explore.

Once 11 PM hits, the whole vibe changes drastically! The club on the hotel rooftop opens for business, and I swear, it's not just background music, it's an EARTHQUAKE-LEVEL RAVE!
I was staying on the third floor, and I could clearly feel the entire floor, walls, and ceiling vibrating to the beat of some outdated House music[2]. The bass felt like it was installed directly on my heart, pounding away until three or four in the morning. Thinking about sleeping? Not a chance! Anjay, this isn't a hotel, it's basically the club's staff dorm!
Besides the fatal flaw of the noise, other details also left a lot to be desired. For instance, the infamous breakfast was really not great; the selection is very limited, and you'll definitely get sick of it after staying for two days[3].
