Driven by the halo of MasterChef Indonesia contestant [1] and Google's insanely high 4.9 rating, I eagerly made my way to Lamama in Bandung. The result... I was stunned as soon as I arrived at the entrance. This wasn't a Cafe at all, it was practically a pesta rakyat (people's feast) scene! There were so many people, I thought I was queuing for some limited edition release!
After much effort, I squeezed inside. The entire space was small but charming, but the tables were incredibly close together. The perfume from the guy at the next table almost marinated me [2]. Want to find a quiet corner to Nongkrong? Basically, forget about it. During peak hours, it was as noisy as a night market, with zero privacy.

I recommend just taking Grab/Gojek, otherwise, looking for a parking spot will make you collapse on the spot.
