The shop is right inside Kota Kasablanka. The ambiance is that of a typical mall café—clean and bright, but in terms of being well-designed, not really. It's just a standard spot to rest your feet.
The small cakes in the display case were quite exquisitely made; they definitely nailed the French Patisserie look. I just ordered the one that looked the most appealing and paired it with a coffee.
How should I put it? The taste... played it safe. The cake was a little too sweet for me, and the layers of flavor weren't very distinct, but it wasn't bad either. The coffee was just a normal coffee; it did its job of waking me up. The whole experience was just"Oh, it's okay." I had absolutely no urge to post on my social media and exclaim"Mantap!"

To be honest, if you go in with the expectation of a"perfect 5.0 Google-rated gem," you'll most likely be disappointed. It's not bad, but it definitely can't live up to the perfect 5.0 halo. Those 3 reviews? I'm guessing they were probably friendly contributions from friends and family... 😅
But if you just happen to be shopping at Kokas, your legs are sore, and you want to find a place to sit down and Chill for a bit and have a decent piece of dessert that can't go wrong, then this place is a decent option. Its biggest advantage is convenience; you don't have to leave the mall.
