Just spent a day wandering around Padang, my legs were about to fall off, so I just wanted to find a place to sit down and grab a coffee to recharge. I found this place, Kopi Boy, and the pictures looked pretty Chill. The ratings were high too, so I went for it.
The vibe was great as soon as I walked in. The place was pretty clean, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I was thinking I could finally Nongkrong with my friend and complain about all the weird stuff that happened today. I ordered their signature coffee, and honestly, the taste was seriously Mantap[1]. It had that rich flavor I like. But after looking through the menu for a while, I felt like the coffee selection was a bit limited. A relief for someone with decision paralysis, haha.

Just as my friend and I were having a good chat, halfway through our coffee, Anjay! The live band next to us suddenly started playing! The speakers were so loud I started questioning my life choices, and I felt the whole floor vibrating. My friend and I basically had to shout to talk to each other. It felt more like arguing than chatting. This isn't a coffee shop, it instantly turned into a live house venue[2]! My hope for a quiet chat was instantly shattered…
