2. Dream Dates Artisan Bakery & Restaurant Senopati
“Dream Dates Restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a sophisticated dining experience with a creative twist. From the moment you walk in, the inviting ambiance and attentive service set the stage for a memorable meal. One of the standout dishes is their Fettuccine Truffle Mushroom, which is a true masterpiece. The perfectly cooked fettuccine is enveloped in a velvety, aromatic truffle cream sauce that strikes the ideal balance between richness and flavor. The mushrooms add an earthy depth, making each bite a luxurious delight. Equally enchanting is their Earl Grey Poured Tiramisu. This dessert is not just a treat for the palate but also a visual spectacle. The delicate Earl Grey-infused syrup poured tableside over the tiramisu transforms a classic dish into something extraordinary. The tea's floral and citrus notes beautifully complement the creamy mascarpone creating a harmonious symphony of flavors. Dream Dates excels in pairing innovation with quality, and their commitment to culinary excellence is evident in every dish. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a great meal, this restaurant is sure to leave you impressed. Highly recommended!”

4. Satu Meja
“Written and visited on Sept 28, 2024. Located a little bit away from the Tanjung Duren culinary district. It has a dedicated parking space in front of the place with a parking attendant. The space can fit up to six cars and about ten motorcycles. So, bring less worry about parking. It offers variety of dishes from Indonesian, western and Italian. They also have light meals, snacks, desserts, and selection of drinks, which includes coffee, tea, as well as beers and soju. Despite serving liquors, the place is in the "Family Friendly" category. They're those that let the customers scan and browse online menu. Don't and didn't bother to ask the hard copy of it. However, orders are still placed through the waiters. For payment, they only accept cashless method (cards or online). I ordered the chicken steak, fried calamari for the table, and apple juice. The chicken steak was served last, following ~12 mins. of wait. Nonetheless, it tasted great. The sauce and salad went well with the chicken breast cutlet. The apple juice did not disappoint, either. It came with two apple slices, without blended ice, and at the right level of sweetness. Despite the fact that the prices may looked "budget friendly" on the menu, they don't show the pictures of the dishes in it. It's a spot-on strategy, because when the food and drink arrived, the portion was a bit little. At least to me. The service was great, the waiters were polite, helpful and insightful. Another great thing about the service is that they give out free ice cream for each orders of food + beverage. They'll need you to fill an online form with your name, email, and see phone number. The system will send a code through WhatsApp, and the code is then used to redeem the free ice cream. Their toilet policy is mixed. There are two booths with seating toilets and "bum gun." Hand wash sink is right in front of the booths.”

5. La Moringa Jakarta
“Found a new truly gem in the centre of Kemang area, next to McD Kemang. Beautifully designed & spacey cafe, "La Moringa" is not just an ordinary cafe, but a cafe with plenty of purposes & inspirations. Serving healthy drinks & food with moringa & sorghum based that planted in Eastern Indonesian province (called "Nusa Tenggara Timur"). We, a family, ate Sunday brunch, a descent all-day-breakfast package combined with any drink for only Rp 88K. I chose the most hearty drink: Avocado Coffee Milk (with real avocado at the bottom) & Tuna Baguette, while the other member chose Smoked Beef open sandwich with generous mrlted cheese on top. The moringa green fried rice was also much satisfying. At the end we also tried Moringa gelato, which almost taste like green tea/matcha ice cream, but lot better & healthier, also sorghum ice cream that taste similar to ogura ice cream. On top of that, the service is the best, friendly, and the staff generously provided us with many tasters including the souvenirs cookies & sweets that also sold on the spot. Sincerely recommended for those who'd love to experience one of the sweetest treat of this country!”

6. Fyne Jakarta
“I really like fyne bcs the service was very good like this one employee even danced with me for a minute on the dance floor while the dance floor was empty. Things that i really really like about fyne tho is that the dance floor space is just about right, the disco lamp(???) is just about right too for my epileptic ass, the snacks are bomb!!!, and the last thing is that its very cold to the point that even when i danced so hard it doesnt make my hair greasy yay!!! but if there’s one thing that i think can be improved is the parking lot and the mirrors lol. The mirrors are literally petite and very few. But either way i really love it and ill definitely go back and recommend my friends to go theree!! this is not a buzzer btw, its literally coming from the bottom of my heart💗💗”

7. GOOD FOLKS
“recently visited this café, and it was an amazing experience. the place is cozy, with a calm atmosphere and modern minimalist interior design. It’s perfect for hanging out or working peacefully. i ordered Sea Salt Latte, and the flavor was perfect—just the right balance of sweetness and a subtle salty kick that made it unique and refreshing. unfortunately, my drink spilled accidentally, but the staff immediately replaced it with a new one without any hesitation. their attentiveness and excellent service really stood out! the service was excellent as well. the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. the prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the ambiance offered. with its great service, inviting ambiance, and diverse menu, this café is a must-visit. whether you’re looking for a place to relax, work, or enjoy good food and drinks, it ticks all the boxes.”

8. MUHI. Eatery & Coffee
“♡ Second time coming here. The first time was on a quieter schedule, so they served me at a quick pace. The second time around, it was on an even quieter ambiance. ♡ The place serves us with minimalistic space, be it decorations and also interior-wise. Well, the place is fresh, the new interiors are clean, and some spots are open and modern with enough space (the place might be crammed during busy hours so if you are lucky enough you might be able to grab a spot there), a great atmosphere, and good tunes. ♡ Food and drink: I rate 8,5 out of 10. I had its most ordered—by the recommendation from the barista "Creamy Betutu Gilimanuk". The dish is very warm and nice which gives us the authentic taste of Bali that makes our palate hits atop the border. For drink, I ordered its signature drink "Sun Presso". The drink tastes sweet and sour, yet a bit bitter as an aftertaste. Though, it serves a real purpose. To freshen up my palate after the dish. Muhi is more than just a place to grab food and coffee. It's a hangout spot for all the coolest South Jakartan (as I may have come to understand). ⚠️ Note: The coolness a.k.a air-con needs to be leveled up a bit aside from that everything is amazing from scratch to perfection.”

9. UATTU
“The place has a nice homey but luxurious vibe. I'll try to be as objective as possible in describing my experience in Uattu. I'm not an avid goer to fancy restaurant, but Uattu has a proper host/hostess team that will personally lead you to your preferred seating place. Which I would say was well groomed and well mannered, and it was such a sight for my sore eyes after 8 grueling hours against spreadsheets. Menu-wise, the restaurant put a heavy emphasis on serving a traditional Indonesian food, with a twist that this would be a high quality take on what you may know about Indonesian food. The employees are explaining the menu properly, and are patient and paying attention to details to my order - I dislike pickle. The meal that I ordered was Nasi Goreng Sarang Telur. First, the rice is cooked properly. It has a smokey flavor and aroma, and it got oily and dry texture as what we will expect from a fried rice. Egg is always a nice addition to fried rice, and I can still remember the slight crunch and savory taste it gives while chewing the rice. The cracker is unique, but not my favorite part of the meal, nevertheless it bring a memorable sensation for me due to its soft yet crispy feel. I would say the best part lies in the chicken satay, tender meat combined with peanut sauce. And the fried rice actually come without pickle - talking about actually listening to my request. The only downside for heavy eaters like me would be that the portion of the fried rice is kinda small. But, nothing that can't be solved with ordering a 2nd portion of fried rice. To accompany the meal, since I came during dinner time, I ordered chamomile tea. Mind that it does not come in a teabag, it's an actual chamomile petal. Would love to visit here again soon, the service and whole experience were impeccable for me.”

10. Colega Chocolate & Cafe
“I had an amazing time at Colega Cafe. The place felt so cozy and luxurious, making me instantly comfortable. The food was something else – I loved the Nori Chips and Mushroom Soup to start, they were different and tasty. For the main course, the Mac n Cheese was super creamy and the Truffle Risotto was packed with great flavors. The Grilled Salmon Rice was a pleasant surprise with how well the flavors came together. And oh, the Chocolate Tower Beignet for dessert was just heavenly. The drinks were equally fantastic. The Orange Chocolate was refreshing, and the Matcha Coffee had a unique twist. The Peach Iced Tea was a nice choice, and the Dirty Chocolate was rich and satisfying. All in all, Colega Cafe not only served delicious food and drinks but also made the whole experience delightful with their cozy atmosphere.”
