The first sip of their Kagura powder felt like the moment you realize, “Oh—this is what matcha is supposed to taste like.” It’s smooth, comforting, and has that quiet depth you only get from really good tea. Their Earl Grey syrup deserves its own shoutout. I didn’t expect matcha and bergamot to work this well together, but it adds this soft, aromatic lift that makes the drink feel almost… elegant? And the strawberry jam is honestly wild. It tastes like someone actually cared enough to make it properly bright, real, and not overly sweet. What I love most is that everything here feels intentional. Nothing tastes generic or rushed. It’s the kind of place you end up recommending to friends because you want them to experience it too. For me, Moku might just be the best matcha in Jakarta right now.”

“Roti Boy adalah pelopor nya roti dilapisin crust kopi dengan mentega ditengah nya. Ini adalah nenek moyang dari Roti O juga & lain nya yang model seperti ini. Ini cabang nya yg pertama & udah berdiri hampir 2 dekade. Kalau dari rasa sih, juara banget. Saya yakin ini adalah yang paling enak dibanding semua competitor nya, apalagi Roti O! Kalau masih fresh, crust nya garing banget, roti nya lembut (sampai balita aja bisa makan), mentega nya ditengah roti juga gurih nya pas & tidak bau margarin (cocok bagi yg ngak suka bau margarin). Dari awal berdiri belasan tahun sampai sekarang rasanya masih konsisten, walaupun sudah ngak seramai dulu. Bisa dibilang ini salah satu makanan bersejarah, karena dulu kalau antri disini panjang banget. Dulu mereka stick ke 1 rasa (yg original kopi), namun mungkin karena pamor nya udh hilang & yang dateng hanya para pelanggan setia atau yg mau nostalgia aja, sekarang mereka mulai bikin variant baru. Ada 2: roti-girl (versi crust vanilla), kopiko (yg lebih dark), kalau saya tetep lebih suka yg original. Tempatnya sendiri buat makan ditempat agak kecil, namun kalau buat nunggu atau meeting singkat sebenernya lumayan cukup, namun tidak ada wifi ataupun colokan untuk charger.”

Bakminya terlihat simple, tp flavornya very rich, gurih, bener2 ‘mie rasa ayam’ gt lho, kuahnya jg ngaldu banget tipe collagen broth, Bakso gorengnya sih juara, teksturnya chewy tp luarnya bs ‘kres’ garing renyah, GONG bgt! layak dpt Michelin star ini sih 🤩🤩🤩 Risolnya harus coba, isiannya premium ala carbonara, en disajikan hangat, fried by order. Minumannya enak n unik ala chinese drinks, ada Liang teh, Lohanko, badak n chrysanthemum tea. Decornya lucu, ada sentuhan oriental vibes tp tetap modern, waitersnya ramah n sigap, excellent service!!!”

“Untuk rasa, varian rasanya dcrepes selalu enak dan tidak pernah mengecewakan. Untuk harga terjangkau. Untuk tempatnya tidak terlalu besar karena disini tempatnya menyatu dengan Burger King, Lois, dan juga restoran AYCE bulgogi yang ada di lantai 2. Untuk parkirnya juga tidak terlalu besar. Ruang tunggunya juga tidak terlalu besar”

“A surprising 10/10 dinner! Came for the Signature (pepperoni) pizza and i (expectedly) am satisfied with the taste and quality. So glad that they came in M (8 slices) and L (12 slices) size options! For me, the M size is still too big for 2 but perfect for our takeaway and usual pizza a-day-after breakfast at home. Please please please try the Black Oceani Pasta — i was so taken aback with how good it was! They take their pasta seriously despite of being a pizza place and i am soooo here for it! Probably one of the best pastas that i’ve ever ate here in Jakarta. So fresh, so flavorful, but tasted so clean! You got 2 shrimps, 2 scallops, and generous squid with it. Definitely will come back to taste their truffle maniche someday. For drinks, i tried the earl grey chocolate with less sugar and it was perfect as well. My partner got a chamomile tea and it was TWG - noice! Another plus point: i contacted the restaurant asking for availability for the dinner and got a really fast response confirmation. This is certainly a rare communication style found in restaurants in Jakarta tbh. The staff seemed to be really prepared with my presence too, despite i just gave my confirmation 10 minutes before i got there.”

“Ordered from Chagee app, it was fast, less than 5 minutes and my order was ready to be picked up. Also got 50% discount voucher from the app. I got the best seller Bo Ya Jasmine Milk Tea normal sugar, surprisingly the sweetness was just right, to be compared with the other brand, Chagee’s not too sweet which is match my preferences. The tea was so fragrant, but I prefer the Tie Guan Yin, it’s a blend of osmanthus and orchid so good, if you like floral tea then this could be a choice. Packaging was nice, feel really premium, also the slim plastic straw, well pro and cons, I like it as using this straw it enhance the tea aroma as I sip, on the other side it’s not as refreshing as using normal straw, the gulp feels different. Also as an extra ice person, I expect a bit colder drinks, I ordered normal ice, I picked up my order directly once ready, and drink it but the ice cubes were melt on one cup and just some tiny pieces left on the other cup. Anyway no toppings at Chagee just milk tea and straight tea, they don’t have the peach one in Indo But overall I like Chagee, not too sweet, and the fragrant tea 🙌🏻”

“OMG what superb food in a chick and hip atmosphere. Tried this place for Dinner and my GOD what amazing food. Ambience: Beautiful and jazzy Ambience, v clean and modern look. Food: Primarily western food but some traditional items with modern twist also available. I tried Roasted chicken, Chicken Mayo sandwich, Reuben sandwich, tomato meatball soup, topped with Lychee ice tea. Grilled chicken was juicy and v yummy. Chicken Mayo sandwich was also v v nice. Not to mention the soup and Reuben sandwich. Portions are very large and we couldn't finish the food we ordered. Recommended to order just 1 item per person as Portions are large. Service: v friendly staff and quick service. Staff offered to pack our remaining food voluntarily. Cost: per head it costed 322000 Indonesian rupiah (~30 SGD) which may sound a bit expensive but given that we ordered extra food it could have been cheaper. Overall amazing food in a hyper modern setting. Absolute must try if in PIK area of Jakarta.”
