“Nice dimsum place to go with friends/family Lots of options to choose. Definitely need to try the rengginang soup! (My friend introduce me) The rice paper with fried dough are always my favorite. But the other fillings also nice The taste of chicken feet definitely need to go for, need to eat more than 1 serve. The minion! Salted egg custard filling. Hmmmmmm, maybe it should be warmer. Service were fantastic! Location was the centre of Jakarta, near chinatown. Just pity the building itself so quiet! Seems only the restaurant is the one always busy.”

“Beautiful decor, attentive service and delicious dishes. I had the fortune to be invited to an event conducted here and was served with a set list menu. All dishes were delicious and impeccably cooked. For starters, we had pan fried scallop with garlic (love it), pickled chill cherry tomatoes in plum sauce which tasted sweet but fresh the same time and fried dice chicken in crispy cups. For the main course we had 7 dishes: - Fish Maw and abalone soup. - Fried Mutiara Lobster thoughtfully cut into eatable size so you can eat in comfort an .Love it. - I also love the Pan Fried Honey Glazed Ribs. So tasty and also in size-able eating cuts. - Black Pepper Wagyu cut into cubes, flavorful and tender but many other restaurants serve these so it was not spectacularly extraordinary. - Steamed Grouper with Scallops and Radish was delicately flavorful, but in my opinion could be more tender. - Bean Curd Roll with Mushroom and truffle sauce which looked like xiao long pao. Unique blend of truffle and mushroom flavor but by this dish I was so full I could only eat one piece (what a waste 🥲). - Love the Egg and Truffle Fried Rice (even though I was almost in a food coma by then) - the truffle flavor was just right, not too overpowering but you definitely know it’s truffle. Unique desert of thin white chocolate in the shape of egg shell (garnished with thin apple slices in the shape of flower) filled with cream sitting on top of crush iced laced with lime if I was not mistaken. Overall it was a great and unforgettable experience especially after being told the price: a whopping Rp.3,5 million per person (probably already discounted since the organizer booked the entire room and all the adjoining smaller private rooms!). This place is recommended for those who are prepared to pay.”

“It is so grand. The design of the restaurant is beyond another ordinary restaurant. It is so beautiful just to see the decoration and the chair is comfortable. There many kinds of Chinese foods. You can eat seafood and choose your own sauce. There also many kinds of meat with a different sauce. What interests me the most is the ball-shaped tea leaves. Its shape like a ball and when hot was water pours in, the flower will come out from that the leaves. There are many kinds of foods ranging from fried foods, meat, seafood, dim sum, and dessert. The waitress is so kind and nice. They always serve us with a smile and very friendly. One thing I don't like is the lighting is a bit dim. Especially the table in the middle (turn left from the entrance). I think it's better to put some light near that table (I came to this restaurant at noon). And, I feel that the restaurant can save more energy. The restaurant can turn off the lights that are near the window because it is useless to turn it on in the afternoon. In overall, this restaurant is very cosy. If you want to try various kinds of Chinese food in one place, this is the place. This place is not so noisy and feels relaxing. Really recommended eating here with your partner, friend, or family.”

“I had an amazing iftar dinner at Open Restaurant in DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and attentive service set the perfect tone for a memorable evening. The buffet spread was absolutely impressive, offering a wide variety of traditional Indonesian dishes, Middle Eastern delights, and international favorites, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Every dish I tried was flavorful and well-balanced, from the rich and aromatic lamb ouzi to the perfectly grilled satay and fresh seafood selections. The dessert station was also a highlight, with a great selection of sweets, including traditional kolak, baklava, and premium cakes. What made the experience even better was the staff’s hospitality. “The food is good and price is reasonable I ordered the traditional food of the day, and we got pumpkin soup for the soup It was reallly good. The soup broth is very thick and fragrant. That’s why it’s called the Soup Restaurant i guess 😃 The thing that can be improved is really the service. We asked a few questions about the menu but the staff was not really knowledgable about the menu. For example, we asked what type of Kerapu is used for the steam Kerapu and she didnt know or didnt even try to ask the kitchen. We asked what tofu is used for the claypot tofu (issit egg tofu or the standard tofu, she said is standard non- egg tofu, but turned out to be egg tofu) Would recommend more staff especially during festive days like CNY eve to maintain the service quality Traditional Soup of the Day 5/5 Steam Kerapu 3.5/5 Claypot Tofu 4.5/5 Cereal Prawn 4/5 Bayam dengan Telur 3 rasa 3.5 /5 Sayur Pocai Enoki 4/5 Mee Sua Goreng 3.5/5”

“went here last friday for team dinner. price/pax around 318k (bogo via grab dine out) - main course buffe there's some choices for indonesia (fried rice, ikan bakar), india (forgot the name of the rice but it tasted good, curries, naan) chinese food (fish w/ xo sauce). all ok, but sop buntut tasted weird somehow. - western section tried the cheese alfredo pasta, tastes really good! the mashed potato is off. some various of cheese w/ biscuit and breads. pizza is a little dry, lasagna is a no no for me. - meat section tried tenderloin steak with sauces (mushroom, bbq, blackpepper). meat was super tender. my friend tried ribeye and it was good too. - seafood on ice no lobster seen on friday night. dont know why.. tried the clams variance and crab with tar tar sauce. it was ok - japanese section tried salmon aburi sushi and chuka ikado sushi, there was also fresh sashimi by request. it was good - mexican section i only saw nacho chips. the salsa was ok - desert section tried madelaine dipped in chocolate, some choco mousse cake, moon cake, ladoo. there was also es teler and some variance of ice cream but i was too full to dig in more overall it was ok and worth the price (318k) if there was also lobster on ice. a little sad but will came back again”
