1. Suck My Duck
“Located around Senayan, Suck My Duck offers a unique dining experience. However, parking space is limited, so valet service is necessary (prepare cash for tipping the valet). The menu is impressive, especially the duck dishes, which are incredibly delicious but quite oily. For those on a diet or following a restricted calorie diet, it's recommended to take a fat blocker. The Hainanese rice is slightly savory but almost like regular rice. The noodles are tasty, very plain, but served in large portions. The vegetables are all delicious and taste natural without any MSG. Free water is included, and you can request a bucket of ice if you prefer cold water. Prices are very reasonable, around 350k for two people, including half a portion of roast duck and other dishes. The servings are very filling. However, the restaurant can get extremely crowded, so it's best to visit after lunchtime on weekends. There is also a prayer room and a place for ablution, which is very convenient for those who need to pray.”

2. Ajwad Resto
“The food tasted very nice, they use generous spices for the food so u really get the arabian-indo cuisine feel nicely (food in Arab or UAE actually use less spice than in Indonesia, our arabian cuisine was heavily influenced by Indian cuisine). Ambiance and decoration are lovely, they undergo several renovations so now they have bigger parking spaces and more tables. U also could shop for nuts, books, and other things here. Go easy on the chocolate tough, the nuts is way better choice. The restaurant was very clean, smell's good and it's considered an upper class restaurant in Condet area. Just suggestion, I know that we are supposed to eat the main food with hand, sunnah and all, so they use plastic plates because in big size it's safer and weight less than ceramic ones. But maybe u can give option if someone want to use ceramic plate because when we eat with spoon, the plastic give annoying sound while we cut the meat, also subjectively feels cheap and less hygienic even tough I'm sure they use dishwasher machine & sterilize them.”

3. Hattori shabu-shabu & yakiniku
“Heyy Hattori . Tempatnya asik buat makan AYCE bareng. Termasuk one of the best ayce murce . Cuss ke hattori guys”

4. Bopet Mini @Benhil
“Visited Bopet Mini, a legendary spot in Benhil, Jakarta, for authentic Padang cuisine. It’s conveniently located near Jalan Sudirman, making it a great stop for anyone in the area. The place has moved back to its original location, now tucked into a side street, away from the main Benhil street. The good news is, they’ve expanded to 3 floors, so there’s definitely more space compared to before (or maybe it is just my feeling, but at least it feels more comfortable). We kicked things off with a Nasi Padang (which, yes, we had for breakfast—only at Bopet Mini, right?). The flavors were spot on, with each dish reflecting true Padang authenticity. The Lontong Sayur Padang was equally impressive, bursting with bold, delicious flavors. We also tried Bubur Kampiun, which was tasty but could’ve been a little thicker for that perfect texture. One of the highlights was the Salalauak, a must-try Padang snack. We couldn’t leave without picking up a few treats like Pinokuik (the Padang-style pancake), Kripik Balado, and Lupis to bring home—my dad always insists on these! Highly recommend visiting for anyone who wants to indulge in genuine Padang flavors.”

5. Seafood 68 Santa
“Fresh seafood in street stall ❤️ What i order here: fried squid(45k), prawn with padang sauce(45k), grilled gurami(85k), and last but not least steamed virgin clams(20k). The squid isnt the best out there but surely u taste a lot of squid and less greasy than usual fried squid.. I love this squid❤️ Next is the ace of this entire menu which is i think 70-80% of people coming here choose to buy this one.. Its sweet its salty its spicy everything with the succulent fresh sweet big prawn makes u wanna order more. The third one gonna be the gurami, its fresh and really juicy when it come to my table.. With such a sweet and salty taste with the hint of charcoal grill.. U will love this with the sambal(from fried squid) and kecap(from grilled gurami) will make ur tastebuds tingle and wanted more rice to eat with.. Lasr but not least is the virgin clams, for me i loved clams so much that i could taste wether its a good or bad clam.. And i think this is one of the standard fresh clam u wanted to taste.. Its just that much fresh and that much sweet.. U can eat it with the sambal they provide which gives sweet spicy sour taste which i loved so much❤️ Thats all.. If u wanted to find a place to eat with family or friends or even ur gf or bf this place is a go to with the cheaper price and still a good taste to be waited.. *note: if u want crab they sell it with a portion gives u 2 piece of crab with 180k rupiah”

7. Wing Lok Hongkong Dimsum Antasari
“Finding cheap but good restaurant place in Jakarta is a bit challenging. And Winglok is easing the challenges of finding good but cheap restaurants. As you can tell from the name, the restaurant offers Hongkong cuisines such as dimsum and others. For the food and beverages, they have many of them. With many types of dimsum, steamed and fried foods and also many type of tea. You can only order food from the QR code that will be given after you have a seat. So, for those who maybe a little rusty using smartphone. Ordering food can be a little bit confusing. But, food is delivered to your table very quick and without a single word to the waiter (advantage for shy people :)). You can pay using cash, cards, or digital payment. No crypto payment. So if you're stuck in the middle of the Antasari traffic, or just looking for a good eating place. Maybe Winglok can be your choice.”

8. Abura Soba Yamatoten, Grand Indonesia
“Abura Soba Yamatoten Grand Indonesia West Mall Central Jakarta December 2018 Truffle pork soba for 68 K IDR++ and smoked bacon for 58 K IDR++. This soba served with truffle oil may not be the traditional way of doing things - compared to their karami pork soba (same price), for example - but it sure is delectable. Their soba is light and springy, the toppings are fresh, and their poached egg is just perfect! Like OMG it was just so runny and creamy - mixing it up with the soba made me feel like i was making a very good carbonara hahah. My only gripe with the dish is that there was too little meat in it. That being said, although I've never been a big fan of noodles either, i gotta say this place does make me wanna come back again. It is on the slightly more expensive side of Jakarta eating, and its servings are not the biggest. But it does make you feel satisfied, and i guess that's why you order the smoked bacon side or the gyoza dumplings for 32 K IDR++. They are really good for its price and the gyoza vinegar is really top notch. I also have to commend their thick, grainy, oily chili sauce - it may not look like much, but it sure is good. Oh, and pro tip: they do give you a dollop of mustard for the smoked bacon, but imho you should try it with a bit of the gyoza vinegar as well (so mustard PLUS vinegar) to really pair that creamy fatty meatiness with the tart and sourness of both sauces. Their soba is top notch indeed and they do take their condiments seriously, thank you @dimas_subagio ! #goodfood #worththeprice”

9. SEMAJA Menteng
“Pairing wine with Indonesian food can be a delightful surprise when done right, and my recent experience proved just that. With the cuisine’s rich spices, bold flavors, and layered heat, it might seem like a challenge but the thoughtful pairings at our dinner elevated every dish. We started with gado-gado, a refreshing salad with peanut sauce, which was beautifully complemented by a chilled Gewürztraminer. The wine’s floral aroma and slight sweetness balanced the nutty sauce and subtle heat, enhancing the freshness of the dish. Next came Ayam Bakar Bom Banjarmasin, a slow roasted chicken packed with spices. A medium-bodied Pinot Noir was paired with this, and it worked wonderfully the wine’s earthy notes and soft tannins didn’t compete with the dish, but rather supported its complex flavors. The highlight of the evening was Rendang, the iconic West Sumatran beef dish. Rich, spicy, and deeply savory, it was paired with a bold Syrah. The wine’s peppery character and dark fruit notes brought out the depth of the rendang and matched its intensity without overwhelming the palate. Throughout the meal, the pairings felt intentional and well balanced. The staff’s Agrian Sommeliers knowledge of both the wine list and Indonesian flavor profiles was impressive they made the entire experience approachable, educational, and thoroughly enjoyable. This experience proved that with the right guidance, wine and Indonesian food can be a match made in culinary heaven.”

10. Hakuna Matata Jakarta
“Its hidden gems at Cijantung located at the back of Mall Cijantung, for location its not big also not friendly for car and more reasonable if using motorbike here cause more easily for parking. For access was not easy for car cause just fit just 2 cars. But all paid off when we arrived, the atmosphere are cozy and really comfortable despite the crowded inside cafe. Inside cafe fill with many instagramable spot especially on 2nd floor. Not just that, they had so many menu and variation food taste was great and the price are reasonable and worth, also the employee was really helpful and friendly. Really the great cafe to hangout, do your homework and surely for date also but you have to come earlier due really limited space for parking and inside the cafe. But overall was really happy to come and enjoy at this place, surely i will come again very recommended”
