After sitting down, I first ordered their signature Soto Tangkar[3]. The rich coconut milk broth was indeed fragrant, and you can also choose your cut of meat. As for the taste... how should I put it? Some people find it rich and tasty, but I felt it was just standard. It was good, but not amazing enough to blow me away, and I even felt it wasn't as good as some random stalls I've come across on the street.
BUT! The moment I tried their Sate Sapi[4], I got it! This must be the main event, right?! The beef satay was grilled to perfection, the meat was super tender, with a captivating smoky flavor and a hint of sweetness. It was so delicious I immediately ordered another ten skewers on the spot! No wonder it's a must-order for every table. This is the real “Juara” (champion)!
