Girls, I was looking for a place to Nongkrong and listen to music, but I almost thought I'd stumbled into a music festival. 🤯 This Portable Kitchen & Lounge, hidden inside the Arion Hotel in East Jakarta, the volume of the live band is no joke! The moment I sat down, I could feel the stool vibrating... anjay!
I originally thought that at a place focused on live music, the food would be just for the vibe, but I was totally proven wrong. The ambiance is your typical lounge style, the lighting is super dim, making it a bit hard to take photos, but the atmosphere is maxed out. When the dishes came out, I was stunned!
Lasagna (Lasagna)[1] is a must-order! The cheese is so rich you can pull it, but the lemon-flavored salad on the side is a stroke of genius. It perfectly cuts through the richness of the heavy cheese. Whoever came up with this combo is a genius! And the Sweet and Sour Dori (Sweet and Sour Dori)[2], my friend who went with me crowned it the"champion." The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, coated in just the right amount of sauce, Mantap! 👍 The portions are also super generous[3], definitely not one of those pretty-looking dishes that leaves you hungry.
