Don't have any expectations for the environment, it's a typical Indonesian warung – crowded, noisy, and even a bit messy. But when that plate of Bebek Goreng (fried duck)[2] was served, all my discomfort vanished into thin air. How tender was the duck meat? It fell apart with just a touch of chopsticks, not at all tough, with rich, fragrant oil, and seasoning that went deep into the bone, simply melting in your mouth!
