It's definitely the kind of place where you can comfortably open your laptop and type away all day, or have a serious chat with a client[1]. What surprised me the most was its smoking area has a super-effective ventilation system. As a non-smoker sitting nearby, I could barely smell a thing, gotta give it a Mantap for that![2]
But! When it comes to the food, the vibe completely changes... I ordered the waiter's recommendation, the signature Iced Palm Sugar Latte (Es Kopi Susu Gula Aren)[3]. How should I put it... it was just a decent iced latte, nothing special, nothing bad. Later, I got a craving and tried the pasta, and I was instantly floored... For 90,000 rupiah, they brought out such a tiny portion[4], and the taste was really, really average. It felt like the chef wasn't on their game[5].
