It's not the thin and watery kind, but truly pekat (thick), with a perfect blend of sour, spicy, salty, and sweet. One sip and it instantly whets your appetite. We also ordered their Ikan Tiga Rasa (Three-Flavored Fish)[3], the sweet, sour, and spicy sauce coated the crispy fried fish, it goes so well with rice! And there's also the classic Malaysian Telur Bungkus (wrapped egg with rice)[4], which is a nostalgic choice for many regulars.
The craziest part is the portion size! All the dishes are served as if they're giving them away for free, the plates are huge, truly Jumbo size[5]! The three of us ordered two dishes and a soup and we could barely finish it, the value for money is off the charts, Mantap!
