Well, it's your typical old-school roadside eatery, maybe even a bit hot[1], the whirring fans can't quite beat the heat and lively atmosphere, but let me tell you, this is definitely a place where you'll immediately forgive the ambiance after you eat!
The flavor is the real deal!
When that signature Tomyam Soup[2] was served, I got it instantly! Anjay, that soup base is so rich! It's not the thin and watery kind, but truly pekat (thick), with a perfect blend of sour, spicy, salty, and sweet. One sip and it instantly whets your appetite. We also ordered their Ikan Tiga Rasa (Three-Flavored Fish)[3], the sweet, sour, and spicy sauce coated the crispy fried fish, it goes so well with rice! And there's also the classic Malaysian Telur Bungkus (wrapped egg with rice)[4], which is a nostalgic choice for many regulars.
The craziest part is the portion size! All the dishes are served as if they're giving them away for free, the plates are huge, truly Jumbo size[5]! The three of us ordered two dishes and a soup and we could barely finish it, the value for money is off the charts, Mantap!

But a word of warning, this place really isn't for friends who want to slowly nongkrong in the A/C. The environment is simple and basic, it gets very noisy when it's crowded, and it's hot, making it more of a 'get-in-and-eat' kind of diner for a quick meal!
