Walking into this izakaya called Tori Hachi, a table of older guys were clinking glasses on the left, a table of young ladies were chatting on the right, and EVERYONE! WAS! SPEAKING! JAPANESE![1] The waiter started speaking fluent Japanese, and I was completely stunned. The atmosphere is just so on point!
