Recently, drawn by the reputation of its Olympic champion owner and its high Google rating of 4.9, I checked out this massage place in Gading Serpong that's been popular for 11 years, Nine Family Reflexology. The result… Anjay! I almost died of social embarrassment on the spot!
As soon as I went upstairs, the therapist calmly pointed to a bed right in the middle of the main hall, completely without a curtain, and told me to lie down. I was like ??? 🤯 at that moment. After my strong protest, they finally moved me to a cubicle in the corner with a curtain. But then, she casually pulled the curtain, leaving a huge gap, and told me to get undressed…[1] I was so done! Is privacy protection even a real thing here?

It's absolutely Mantap! 👍 But if you're unlucky… my friend once got a therapist with long fingernails[4], and the whole time it felt less like a massage and more like scraping. The pressure was also inconsistent, sometimes light and sometimes heavy, and the overall experience just plummeted.
But to be fair, their Sports Massage[5] is actually pretty good. It specifically targets muscle strains and recovery, which many places don't offer. Getting one after a workout is really effective.

The prices are really competitive; in the Gading Serpong area, where competition is insane, the value for money is considered high[6]. But don't have high expectations for the environment. The facilities are clearly a bit dated, there's clutter piled up in the hallway, and the room lighting is dim.
