1. Vince
Classic Italian flavors in an intimate setting perfect for a cozy Valentine’s dinner
“My way of describing this place is - perfect for chill dinner. I had Roasted Chicken, Beef Taco, Truffle Fries, and Tono E Cippola Pizza. Pizza is quite nice, dough is made of tortilla and quite crispy, I like how the cheese is generous yet it doesn’t make the whole pizza greasy and wet. Truffle fries is quite nice, thick cuts and surprisingly very crispy. Roasted chicken might be a bit dry to my liking, but it’s perfect for personal or sharing, and I like the sauce (surprisingly it’s a great dipping sauce for the fries). The star of the show would be the Beef Taco, served bite size and the beef is very tender. It would be great if they have big size version of this taco, it’s just so flavorful. I think this place also set seasonal menus, I noticed Christmas specials/packages. Overall great experience, but for huge pax I think it would be better to reserve as this place is a low density restaurant. Update (27/07/24): I tried their sides and cocktails, really love the drinks here. Cheese Potato is perfect for sharing, size is not bad at all but Cheese & Beef Ham Bitterballen is more cheesy compared to the chips. Bitterballen is very crispy and the texture is very soft, perfect balance. If you’re looking for crispy potato snack, Cheese Potato would be the great option but if you’re looking for something cheesy-ier, the bitterballen is better. For cocktails, Cocoa Crush is my favorite, it has a great sweet hint that balances out the alcohol, while Choco Palmae is stronger since it has vodka but it comes with a chocolate waffer. Would love to try more cocktails here in the future.”

2. Sofia At The Gunawarman
Elegant European cuisine for a refined and romantic Valentine’s night
“We were there to celebrate my boyfriend birthday. Service: 5/5 They are not judging, and really helpful to us. Serving us with so beautiful smile, kind tone, and always there to help even without us asking. They also really good at singing happy birthday. Food : 9.75/10 Braised Lamb shank (5/5) Price : 430k (tax included) The lamb was really tender and juicy and smooth and flavorful. The rice was tinted with a lot of spice, but not overpowering the smell is smooth but spot on. Sweet, spicy, savory, and umami. Real good food. Capellini tartuffo (4.5/5) Price : 147k (tax included) It should be called bunch of truffle with angel hair pasta from how much the truffle gets inside the pasta. So so good, the truffle is present but not overpowering the pasta and creamy sauce. It gets boring near the end though, because it has no protein or texture variation. Champignon soup with truffle oil (5/5) Price : 130k (tax included) Everything you ask in a bowl. Creamy? You got it. Umami savory? Yes it is. Hint of sweet? Yess, with a lot of fragrant from the truffle oil that enhance the taste from cream soup to heaven feast. It's even better when it gets cold Sofia chocolate cake (3.5/5) Price : 140k (tax included) Well, the only outsider here. Like yeah it's a chocolate cake, but not a chocolate cake you will remember. I even prefer the Harvest's chocolate cake over this one. Since the sweetness overpowering the chocolate and milky taste. But it's cute, it also cute if you want to adds writings on there to surprise your loved one. Coco banana (4/5) Price : 100k (tax included) It's good, and sweet, and has bold fresh fruits taste to it. With fried coconut shaving, coconut meat, coconut milk and hints of banana.”

3. OSCAR
Chic European dining with warm vibes ideal for a stylish Valentine’s date
“OSO is probably the most elegant place I have ever been to and I am from New York City. OSO is actually known in NYC and many people have admired it and wish to attend. That is why I flew all the way to Jakarta. I like to say the service was amazing and the food was so fresh it was like being in the most luxurious restaurant in New York. The view from the restaurant is also amazing they gave me the best table in the place. But the manager of the restaurant needs to be given credit. His name is Admir and he is so well trained in hospitality that is just stunning. I have been in so many restaurants but I could not believe the hospitality this man has shown. The smooth flow of the staff moving to service the large amount of customers with passion and eagerness and efficiency to get the food out was breathtaking. It shows his amazing leadership skills. Some of the best restaurant mangers in NY can learn something from this man. But ever restaurant manager has a general manger of the whole facilities and that is Agues Arimbawa. He is the general manager of Altitude Grill, OSO, Masanobu, and Enmaru. First he came over to introduce himself to me taking time out of a meeting he was having. He even sat with me for a quick talk. I was also taken to a tour of the other restaurants which are actually all connected. It was again shocking to see the luxury. Agus has created. People were so happy and honored to be there. A general manager like this is one in a million. His divine leadership will only lead to more success. He deserves every bit of respect and I sincerely thank him for the wonderful experience. I cannot wait to get back.”

“Restaurant Review: PIERRE I recently had the pleasure of dining at PIERRE, an authentic French restaurant located in the heart of Jakarta. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the amazing ambiance that transported me straight to the streets of Paris. The attention to detail in the decoration was truly wonderful, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and cozy. The highlight of my experience at PIERRE was undoubtedly the food. 5. THE GARDEN OSTERIA
Italian comfort food with garden vibes for a romantic Valentine’s escape
“One of the most beautiful resto I've visited so far. They take a lot of effort for the interior and also exterior. Beautiful, classic high class vibes. I tried crispy pork ears for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The taste is reminiscent of crispy mushrooms but with a salty seasoning flour and a slightly sour tartar sauce. I particularly enjoyed it with hot chili sauce. Overall, it was a very interesting and enjoyable first experience. I highly recommend giving it a try as an appetizer! Indulging in a decadent first-time experience with this creamy, cheesy, and flavorful Lobster Aglio Olio. The al dente spaghetti texture paired with the fresh and fragrant lobster meat is simply extraordinary. And let's not forget the mouthwatering addition of mozzarella cheese that gives it that savory punch. Enough for two to share, this dish is a true delight for the taste buds! Who knew pork belly could taste so meaty and delicious? This pork belly al balsamico has completely won me over with its perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture paired with the creamy sauce is an absolute match made in heaven. And let's not forget the addition of the steamed grilled onions, which adds a delightful salty kick to every bite. Trust me, this dish is worth every calorie! If you're a fan of classic tiramisu, you'll love this Baileys twist on the traditional dessert. While the price may be on the higher side, the generous portion size and expertly balanced flavors make it a must-try for any dessert lover.”

6. Social House
Trendy ambience and favorite dishes for a fun Valentine’s dinner date
“I recently had the pleasure of trying the Hibiscus Fizz Tea at Social House Grand Indonesia, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The drink was visually stunning, served in a tall glass filled with refreshing ice and topped with a generous scoop of vibrant berry sorbet. A sprig of fresh mint added a beautiful touch of color and a hint of aromatic freshness. The flavor was a perfect balance between the floral, slightly tart notes of hibiscus and the sweet, fruity richness of the sorbet. The fizziness gave it a lively, refreshing finish, making it an ideal choice for a hot afternoon. Every sip was both invigorating and satisfying, with the sorbet gradually melting and blending into the tea, enhancing the flavor even more. Overall, the Hibiscus Fizz Tea is a wonderful treat for anyone looking for a unique, refreshing, and beautifully presented beverage. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be ordering it again.”

7. Butler's Steak Chillax
Premium steak experience perfect for a luxurious Valentine’s celebration
“Came here for a business lunch since the place is the only appropriate restaurant here in Chillax for this occassion and that's probably why it's so packed during our visit. The place has great atmoshpere along with friendly as well as agile waiters... The ordered food and beverages are quickly brought to our table and we therefore doesn't have to waited for so long. As this restaurant specialez in steak in according to its name, we then ordered it. Although there are only three menus for steak available, it taste is outstanding. I already have a favorite steak restaurant, but this could be my other reference to have a juicy and well prepared steak. It started with only a lunch, but then we spent almost five hours here to have a chat accompanied by their nice cup a coffee. The complimentary ice cream is a bit of a show of its own, although I think I have had better Ice Cream elsewhere. Overall, I highly recommend this place to have a delicious steak in a lavish comfortable place. Payment can be made with cash, Qris, Credit and Debit Cards.”

8. MADE'S WARUNG (Plaza Senayan)
Authentic Indonesian comfort food for a warm Valentine’s dinner
“The ambiance is so warm, not too bright and not to dark. The service is also good, I was served by Mas Tara, he asked me if I liked some kind of food or not. And he kept our table clean. During this pandemy, the tables is covered by big paper, so the waiters can easily clean the tables by remove the paper. They also provide hand sanitizer on every table. So that we can use it often. There are restrooms here, so we don't have to go to Plaza Senayan's restroom. And the foods are delicious!!! I ate grilled fish (kakap merah), sauteed green beans, pergedel jagung, and crispy fried duck. The sambals are soo woohh!! Very tasty! I ask Mas Tara, are the food halal here? And yes, they are halal. Except the drinks. They also provide beer or wine here, but I do not drink them. This was my first time to get lunch here, maybe there will be the second, the third, and many times I have to eat here again. 👍🏼”

9. CORK&SCREW COUNTRY CLUB
Fine wines and modern plates for a relaxed romantic Valentine’s evening
“As a regular customer at Cork & Screw Country Club Senayan, I can confidently say this place never misses. From the stunning tropical setting to the consistently warm and attentive service, it always feels like a mini getaway in the middle of Jakarta. Their nasi goreng is hands down one of my all-time favorites — rich, perfectly spiced, and packed with that irresistible smoky flavor. It’s comforting, satisfying, and truly the best version I’ve had. And don’t get me started on the waffle — beautifully flaky, crisp on the edges, soft inside, and just the right touch of sweetness. Perfect for a relaxed brunch or afternoon treat by the pool. The staff always attentuve and their service adds a personal touch that makes each visit special. Whether I’m here for a casual lunch, solo unwinding, or entertaining friends, this place always delivers.”

10. Rocca
Rustic Italian charm perfect for an intimate Valentine’s dinner
“Environment: Good music, live singer, a bit loud. We took appetisers, but no-one came to take and remove the plates after we finished. Until we said something when the main course arrived. The main course took forever to come. Lama banget. The food arrive, but not at the same time. What a pity. Is 3 plates to bring at the same time soo difficult? We asked for it to come at the same time. But! It was all worth the wait. The food was very good. One tenderlion with smashed potatoes, bbq ribs, and fish and chips. Took the Argentinian red wine (merlot). The wine was good and the wine person knew what he was talking about. His service was good as well. Desert was an excellent tiramisu, but a soso baileys Irish chocolate Mousse ( more like a hard cake than a mousse) We can ask for the singer to sing your songs, she's very nice. Nice atmosphere”
